Tom Ford - Bois Rouge is a woody scent, part of the Private Blend collection. It is a wonderful cedar-based fragrance, I personally find it quite masculine, even though it includes notes like jasmine and lily of the valley. The latter is hardly identifiable here, mostly used for toning down the heart of the fragrance, composed of cedar and patchouli. The opening is made up of citrus and spices followed quickly by an explosion of jasmine, cedar and dry patchouli, beautifully blended and very masculine. Then I begin to smell sandalwood, a hint of leather and vetiver, joined by a little bit of vanilla.
